About LeBakery
Since its beginning, in Peoria, IL, LeBakery has specialized in made-from-scratch delicious and beautiful fresh baked goods. Using old-world recipes brought to Peoria from French bakeries and adding new products constantly, we are truly a full-service bakery.
The original owners, Pete and Wanda Hanssen, opened in the Metro Centre in 1985. Christian Palermo, the current owner and baker, is continuing their legacy.
Our wholesale license allows us to provide LeBakery products to restaurants and other Peoria-area establishments. Need bread, rolls, desserts for your customers? Please give us a call or stop by!

We serve nearly every sweet you could imagine – including ricotta-filled cannoli, hand-wrapped creamhorns, and 20+ kinds of bread. Our breakfast pastries are made fresh every morning, along with our ever-popular thumbprint cookies and pies (if you arrive early enough, they’ll still be warm)!
